first of all, happy 40th birthday singapore! it's a day late but we're still celebrating it. heh.
seems like a super LOOOONG time since i last blogged. my computer was giving me problems and probably because my house was under renovation. now i can blog!
i just had house warming 2 days ago! really nice. had to ferry my cousin from harbour front and after that, we went for a car ride. one day before, i marinated the chicken wings and made some kebabs. i also packed my room and made sure it is -ahem- nice and clean. heh. my cousins came and we bbq-ed, ate, played and it was just wonderful. my relatives came over too. we had so much fun. some of them watched my newly installed cable tv, some played mahjong and as usual, some of them drink. my dad was drunk -again-. but all in all, it was the best loooong weekend for this year so far...
now it is time to hit the books and start studying really hard because there are many many many activities (academic) heading my way - tests, mocks, oral, prelim and the actual Os -. phew! it will be chaotic if i dont start soon.
on this lazy afternoon, with the intense heat from Mr. Sun and the lovely hot wind from Miss Breeze, i decided to log on to the computer instead of studying since i've been studying from 12 till 4 and i needed a break, or i'll faint because i'm feeling groggy. heh.
justin brought back a guitar some days ago. it belongs to him -duh- from his bunch of friends from aussie. it was a present for his birthday. hmmm. i think i might want to learn too...
maybe at the end of the year when i'm not so busy with school related activities. heh. alrighty, i better get back to work now. one hour has passed already.
bubble, bubble, bubble... hmmmm..
"girl ah, better start doing your work now! one hour has passed already. you know you can do so many maths questions in one hour or you can do some reading! i want you to switch off the computer in 5 mins and get back to your table and start revising. this year you will be taking your O levels. you have to study hard and get into a course that you like."
*pop* argh!! that is what my mum would tell me if she is here.. sigh..
